@smugglersnotchvt Madonna 1 lift finally spun for the first time this season. My youngest son and I skied hard all day. We timed it almost perfectly with the rope drop of Freefall and some of the first few down lift line. On the eve of a Nor’Easter the final set of skis for this build cycle was pressed. This set is a nice all mount design of 183cm 134/98/120. It has a medium plus flex and each ski weighs 4lbs 8.75 oz. I just finished a set for my almost 12 year old son to help him progress with his skiing. He’s beginning to come around in form and strength and likes to go on adventures off trail with Dad. I built him a 140cm ski with dimensions of 118/84/108. The tip rocker is 22 cm with 5mm of camber, a slight tail flare and skin notch. The radius is around 11 meters if I remember. I used 12 oz biax glass with a handful of carbon stringers and a carbon binding mat to keep the flex medium-soft to allow him to get his skis to bend since he is very light. The core is poplar to keep things light and lively. I can’t wait to see his face when he gets home from school!!! #whiteroomskis #skis #kidsskis #skiing #winter #handmadeskis #madeinvermont
